Job Responsibilities

• Efficiently process cash and credit card payments through adept use of a register/POS terminal.
• Offer greetings and assistance to customers while being proactive in meeting their expectations
• Verify and align the cash drawer contents, complete the cashier form, and execute deposits at the bank
• Strictly follows the cash handling guidelines and procedures mandated by Aramark
• Comprehend the products being sold to effectively aid customers and accurately handle transactions
• Perform the designated procedures for initiating and finalizing operations in alignment with the unit’s operational timeframe
• Keep the workspace spotless and sanitary throughout the day and when preparing to close for the day.
• Keep product supplies at the recommended levels in the designated area and replenish as needed.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and procedures

Qualifications

• Those with past customer service experience are preferred
• A preference is given to candidates with prior cash handling experience
• Basic math competencies and counting proficiencies are a must
• Essential to work self-sufficiently and be proficient in operating with minimal supervision
• Follow the guidelines by engaging in the Food Handler and Alcohol Service trainings mandated for the particular location

The physical requirements of this role may include tasks such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended periods of walking and standing. Additionally, wearing uniforms and/or Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) may be necessary for this position.
