Job Responsibilities

• Skillfully handle cash and credit card transactions through accurate operation of a register/POS system.
• Provide greetings and guidance to customers while being proactive in understanding their needs
• Check and total the cash drawer, arrange and equate the currency and coins, complete the register paperwork, and make bank deposits
• Complies with the regulations and protocols for cash management as set by Aramark
• Be well-informed about the merchandise on offer to support customers and conduct transactions accurately
• Follow the assigned opening and closing routines specific to the unit’s operational timetable
• Keep the work area clean and sanitized during service and at the end of the shift.
• Make sure that the products in the specified location are consistently supplied to meet demand and refill as needed.
• Follow all safety measures and protocols

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service roles is advantageous
• Experience in dealing with cash transactions is preferred
• Competency in elementary arithmetic and numeration is essential
• Required to work with minimal supervision and demonstrate self-reliance
• Comply with location-specific rules by participating in the necessary Food Handler and Alcohol Service training sessions

The demands of this job may involve physical exertion such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and prolonged walking and standing. It may also involve the need to wear uniforms and/or Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
