Requirements:
- It is beneficial to have a high school diploma or a similar qualification
- Having a vocational or professional diploma is the preferred qualification
- Over four years spent immersed in a mix of in-class learning and hands-on work experience
- NonCommercial Driver License Class E: This designation specifies a type of driver's license that excludes authorization for commercial driving activities
- Prioritization is given to candidates with a valid CLASS A Commercial Driver License (CDL)

- Inspection of air brakes (BA220&BA298) is required within a 90-day timeframe

- The Hydraulic Brake (BH220&BH298) should be applied within 90 days of its use
- Within a span of 90 days, the Tire & Wheel TW220 needs to be brought back
- Those working on CF609 and A/C systems need to be certified and proficient in AC220 and AC298 requirements within a six-month timeframe
- Charging and Examination of Battery, Warranty Terms
- HD electrical has a deadline of 90 days to finalize the task specified as DR208
- Those designated as Island Support within the Svc branch are required to complete training in SBTIII, particularly SBT220, and advance to Phase 2 within 180 days
- OEMs must take a minimum of two engine courses available online

This position requires for you to drive Ryder vehicles. In order to become a Ryder employee you must:
- Successfully clear a Ryder drug screening
- Meet the requirements for a DOT physical examination
- Achieve a passing score on the Ryder road assessment
- Complete a thorough screening process by Ryder, which involves checking your background, motor vehicle history, and previous employer drug and alcohol vetting for the last three years
It should be noted that supplementary criteria could be obligatory depending on the location or account.
Responsibilities
- Carries out advanced diagnostic procedures, repairs, checks, and proactive maintenance for customers not under contract.
- Conduct standard vehicle maintenance tasks like tune-ups, oil modifications, tire rotations, fuel filter replacements, checking fluids, aligning wheels, replacing basic suspension components, and fixing or changing light and mirror fixtures.
- Skillset in diagnosing, mending, or exchanging engines, specifically alternators, starters, radiators, injectors, transmissions, and other fuel-related elements.
- Examination, servicing, and exchanging of hydraulic brake components as part of routine maintenance.
- May use a mobile maintenance van to visit customer sites within a specified territory.
- Understand the overall scope and features of Torque's products and services.
- Build a strong bond between the customer and Torque/Ryder through communication.
- Harness the primary functions offered by Salesforce and electronic documentation resources. Maintain accurate records of work orders, customer authorizations for repairs, and notes on repairs within the Salesforce platform.
- Carry out tasks related to the environment, such as inspecting sites, disposing of waste, and handling vehicle chemicals under supervision.
- Ensure that operations align with the stipulated federal, regional, and corporate compliance protocols.
- Fulfill any other responsibilities as delegated.
